SPRiT springs have long been one of the most coveted accessories in the custom mechanical keyboard space and often out of stock in the UK. Made in Korea with super high quality materials and very tight tolerances, these springs can be trusted to perform with unrivalled accuracy and consistency. 

MX Progressive

SPRiT MX Progressive springs are designed to produce ultra-low force at the start of the keypress, combined with a rapidly lifting resistance profile towards the end. This is achieved through a variable pitch coil geometry where the coil spacing is non-uniform along the spring’s length, thereby creating a non-linear spring rate that increases as the spring compresses.

This design is best suited for typists who want a very light, effortless feel when they first press a key, but still want solid resistance at the bottom so they don’t slam into the plate. The lighter start can help reduce finger strain and fatigue during long typing sessions, especially for people who experience joint or tendon discomfort. At the same time, the stronger resistance near the bottom adds control and a more deliberate finish to each keypress.

As someone who suffers from RSI in the fingers, I recommend these springs highly. They are between 14-16mm approximately.
