HMX HMX is one of the most prominent keyboard switch manufacturers in the world after a hugely successful explosion onto the scene in 2023/24. HMX switches are made extremely well to tight tolerances and have solid factory lubing meaning that almost every variety of HMX (and all varieties we stock) are perfect right out of the bag.
Hyacinth V2U Switches
Not to be confused with the Hyacinth V2 switch, Sillyworks have developed the unique full travel V2U. Fans of the Hyacinths hoped for and requested a full travel and fully purple variant of the switch, and so they delivered. These feel really great. They sound strongly different to most HMX I have tried. The Thocc Exchange community asked for exciting new full travel linears, so we got these in (among others).
Mounted on a heavy aluminium board, these tap like snapped chocolate. Their resistance has a pleasing ‘bite’ to it. There’s nothing hollow or scratchy about the sound of them. I already ordered more. Superb!
