Sharkeys is a humble and collaborative designer / content creator / pumpkin enthusiast in the keyboard world. We are thrilled to begin working with them starting with this first and striking debut. It certainly won't be the last! The POMkin is KeyGeeks' first full‑POM linear switch. Built with fully POM housings and stem and factory-lubed for a satisfying “thocky” feel, this switch brings smoothness and depth to every keystroke.
🎃 Why these exist
These switches were designed by Sharkey with joy in mind—specifically the kind of joy that takes you straight back to being a kid. Inspired by Halloween, pumpkin candy corn, and a good pun (POMkins—get it?), they’re nostalgic in the best way.
What I love about Sharkey’s approach is that it’s all about celebrating the little things. The idea that something as small as a switch can carry that much personality—and end up right under someone’s fingertips every day—feels pretty special. This is the start of a collection for me.
You don’t need to love Halloween to appreciate these. You just need to like the idea of having a bit of charm hiding under your caps.
Typing Feel & Sound
The POMkin delivers a deep, rich "thock" signature that feels heavier than your usual linear—thanks to full POM construction and a lively bottom out. If you wanted a more audible experience but similar sound to the Akko Rosewoods, these are a fantastic candidate.
