Keygeek Cera X Linear (10 pack)
TLDR: Lovely smooth and clacky linear by Keygeek with innovative stem comes back for a V2 aimed at clean clack officionados.
-
Cera → smoother, rounder, slightly more forgiving
-
Cera X → sharper, cleaner, more defined and energetic
The Cera X is one of the newest full-POM linear designs from Keygeek, and it’s very clearly tuned with sound clarity in mind. In use, the switch produces an extremely clean, mid-pitched clack, with a bottom-out that’s sharp and decisive.
What stands out is how restrained the top-out sound is. Even with a fairly assertive bottom-out, the return stroke stays quiet, which gives the switch an overall sound profile that feels unusually “clean” and controlled for a loud linear. If you enjoy crisp acoustics without excessive echo or sound smear, this is one of the more convincing full-POM options around.
On the feel side, the Cera X is smooth and snappy, with a fast return and no sense of drag. Factory lubrication is well executed, to the point where additional tuning really isn’t necessary. Stem wobble is kept well under control, helping the switch feel stable and precise.
For anyone curious about what a modern, well-tuned full-POM linear can do acoustically, this is very much a switch worth trying.
