Very rarely Cherry release a new switch, this is one of them.
Cherry MX2A Honey
The Cherry MX2A Honey is designed to take the elements a Cherry fan loves and put them into a silent tactile switch design. The typing experience is similar in a lot of ways to the Cherry MX Purple but with dramatically reduced sound. That said, this switch is not one of the most silent of the "silent" switch category. Rather it comes closer to a semi silent with some audible Cherry scratch and small amount of pleasant top out and bottom out noise. If you enjoy the semi silent switches of the world and the Cherry experience, this is a great option. If you want the holy grail of smooth and silent, there are many other options.
