Meet Our Maker - BasilKeys

BasilKeys is a beloved artisan in the mechanical keyboard community, known both in the UK and internationally for her hand-sculpted keycaps. Each keycap is a tiny work of art, made from polymer clay and sealed with resin, ensuring both durability and charm. Basil’s unique designs have won the hearts of keyboard enthusiasts all over the world (including me!), and we are honored to feature her work in this raffle.

There are 4 Magic Cosmoboots artisan keycaps up for grabs in this raffle, and each entry supports a good cause. To enter, simply purchase a raffle spot—every unit purchased equals one raffle entry. The raffle will close in 4 weeks (Date: Friday 11th October midday UK time) and the winners will be chosen randomly.

Proceeds will be donated to:

St Christopher's Hospice - A cause close to my heart, St Christopher’s provided care for my mother in her final days. They offer incredible palliative care and caregiver support, helping families navigate the most difficult times with compassion and dignity.

RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) - Chosen by Basil, RNIB supports individuals with sight loss. Basil’s personal experience with a friend who lost their sight highlighted the urgent need for better accessibility, support, and awareness around sight loss in the UK. With this donation, we hope to help others receive the support they need, faster.

How will these be shipped?
We package everything securely with plenty of filler to minimize any risk of damage during transit. You’ll also receive some Thocc Exchange stickers and a personal note. We ship globally, so don’t hesitate to join in wherever you are!

What about customs fees?

• These keycaps are hand-sculpted from polymer clay and resin, making each piece truly unique. As they are not cast from a mold, there may be minor imperfections that add to their handmade charm.
• The keycaps have an MX stem.
• To avoid damage, we recommend removing the keycaps with care, either by hand or with a wire keycap puller.
• These keycaps come as a single keycap, no switches included
