Many of you will know Cipulot from the immense contributions he has made to the world of custom mechanical keyboards over the past decade - particularly in the world of EC. Whether it be relentless support on Conical discord servers, or tireless innovation on both his own projects and those that advance the hobby. I am extremely proud to stock his EC PCB range here. We will endeavour to retain all PCBs in stock 365 days a year.
The EC Pro 3 Bundle
The EC Pro-3 DB is a USB-C daughterboard designed for use with EC Pro-X / EC60X SE PCBs by Cipulot inside numerous original plastic topre and EC cases along with a number of aftermarket cases by makers such as Sho Labs & Norbauer & Co.
The PCB used in this Bundle is the EC60X SE PCB. As you will see below and on the product page for that PCB, there are two options for JST location. You will need to identify which JST location you need prior to ordering.
Via Cipulot
With the move to the EC60X-SE there are additional supports but, as always, you can't always have your cake and eat it too without staining your clothes. (That's a messy cake you got there Cip).
Please read carefully the following table to correctly prepare your new EC Pro 2/3 Bundle based on the assembly you are performing:
If the PCB will be inside a OEM HHKB Pro 2/Classic/Hybrid Plastic Case

You must select the Bakeneko JST location option

You will need to snap off the outer structure of the PCB

You will need to use pliers to snap off the USB-C port cleanly
Aftermarket Cases
Given the massive number of aftermarket cases it's impossible to make a list right away so I'd advise you to simply dummy-test the assembly to verify the steps.
Generally speaking no changes should be required so long as you use the H60 JST location, but, based on the specific case:

You may have to snap off the USB-C port if the case has tight space around the PCB

You may have to relocate the JST connector to a different location if there is interferences with the default "H60-Stye JST" location. This is very uncommon.
If you find that your specific EC60X-SE already is in the state described after the modifications then, needless to say, nothing needs to be done!
There are also plenty of folks online who will have tried the build you are planning and can verify compatibility. Also our EC thread on our discord has plenty of people willing to support you.
