The V55XT – A Unique Stacked Acrylic Keyboard
The V55XT (also referred to as the V40105) is a striking stacked acrylic keyboard kit, featuring a 9-layer acrylic case available in four distinct colorways:
- Blood Red
- Electric Blue (shifts to pink depending on the angle)
- Porcelain White
- Smokey Translucent Black
Designed for an immersive and unique typing experience, the V55XT features a 6-degree typing angle and an open-bottom design, which enhances acoustics and produces a higher-pitched sound signature. The final sound profile will depend on your build, making customization even more exciting.

- Hot-Swappable PCB – No soldering required; easily swap out switches.
- VIAL Firmware – Fully programmable keys across multiple layers.
- Mounting Options: Gasket or bottom mount (kit includes gasket mount hardware only).
- RGB Accent in Top Left Corner for a touch of lighting flair.
- Compatible with MX-Style 3-Pin & 5-Pin Switches (not included but available at Thocc Exchange).

📌 Please note: The keyboard will arrive partially assembled (case built with screws & spacers). The PCB will be packaged separately in an anti-static bag. Switches & keycaps are not included.

- Price: £65 with free UK shipping
- Estimated Units: 25-35 available
- UK Fulfilment: Handled by Shrimp, with packaging supplies from Thocc Exchange.
- European fulfilment - if you are concerned about import taxes within the EU, LeHoy from Waifu Works will be handling proxy shipping within the EU. While this may result in a slightly longer delivery time, it is a more cost-effective option compared to paying a £20 import tax. Would encourage you to reach out to LeHoy via Waifu Works to schedule this, alternatively Shrimp can support.
- Post-GB Availability: After the group buy, the V55XT will be available for regular purchase at Shrimpkeys.co.uk, along with extra PCBs and plates.
- Packaging: Securely shipped in sustainable packaging, with additional protection provided by Speedman Box eco-friendly void fill.

- Shipping Begins: TBC - likely 3 months total post GB close.
